Code of Conduct

1. Respect for Others

  • Treat all members, instructors, and fellow martial artists with respect, regardless of rank, age, gender, nationality, or background.
  • Refrain from engaging in discrimination, harassment, or any form of abusive behavior.

2. Commitment to Training

  • Attend classes, seminars, and events regularly, and practice with diligence and sincerity.
  • Strive for continuous improvement in both physical and mental aspects of martial arts.
  • Follow the instructions of instructors and respect the traditions of the dojo or training environment.

3. Integrity and Honesty

  • Represent the organization truthfully in all personal and professional dealings.
  • Avoid claiming ranks, titles, or achievements not legitimately earned through the organization or recognized partners.

4. Safety and Responsibility

  • Prioritize safety during training and ensure a safe environment for all participants.
  • Use techniques learned in training only for self-defense or in accordance with legal and ethical principles.
  • Notify instructors of any injuries, health concerns, or limitations before participating in training.

5. Protection of Leadership and Organizational Interests

  • Members agree to hold the organization, its leaders, instructors, and affiliated dojos harmless in the event of personal disputes, injuries, or legal issues arising from their participation in activities.
  • The organization is not liable for actions taken by members outside of officially sanctioned events, training, or activities.
  • Members must not engage in actions that could expose the organization or its leadership to legal or reputational harm.
  • In the case of legal disputes involving members, the organization reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership until the matter is resolved.

6. Upholding the Organization’s Values

  • Act as an ambassador of the International Karate Jitsu Organization, both within and outside the dojo.
  • Promote the principles of discipline, humility, and mutual respect.
  • Protect the reputation of the organization by conducting oneself in an exemplary manner.

7. Conflict Resolution

  • Address conflicts or grievances with others respectfully and directly, seeking mediation from instructors or organization leaders if necessary.
  • Avoid spreading rumors, gossip, or engaging in divisive behavior.

8. Participation and Contributions

  • Support the organization’s activities, events, and charitable endeavors when possible.
  • Share knowledge and skills with fellow members to contribute to collective growth.

9. Compliance with Laws and Policies

  • Adhere to all local laws, as well as the policies and rules set forth by the organization.
  • Avoid behaviors that may bring disrepute or legal challenges to the organization.

10. Accountability

  • Understand that violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary actions, including suspension or termination of membership.

Acknowledgment:
By participating in events, training, or activities organized by the International Karate Jitsu Organization, all members agree to abide by the Code of Conduct. Members also acknowledge that the organization is not liable for any claims or legal actions arising from personal conduct or participation in its activities.
